As we continue our mission to inspire a love of learning in STEM by providing unique opportunities to explore and create and work to achieve our vision of a world-class interactive science center that ignites the curiosity in all of us, our organization is committed to:

Our plan to empower our team members is to:

• Offer training to instill the foundations of DEAI within our organization. 

• Provide resources to educate our team in making our environment more inclusive. 

• Foster an inclusive community within our organization to share our values.

With this commitment, our team members will strive to become leaders in DEAI within the Northern Virginia Science Center Foundation and our community. To further these efforts, we have developed a comprehensive, multi-year DEAI Road Map using a thoughtful, measured and collaborative process engaging our team, board, advisors and outside experts.  Here is an overview of our DEAI Road Map and goals.
