Monday Fun Day - MLK Day

Want to put some FUN back into Mondays? Join us on Martin Luther King Day to explore an amazing place in the DC area- The National Museum of African American History and Culture! Did you know that there is a lot of STEM at work in this museum? Take a look inside the technology that makes this building a feat of sustainable engineering!  

In this 2 hour event, we will explore the museum’s technology, witness an exciting science demonstration about electricity, and build our own renewable energy source with household materials! We will also have a special visit from a guest scientist at NMAAHC to highlight STEM in relation to the museum!
