Want to put some FUN back into Mondays? Join us on a day off from school for a brand new “Creature Feature!” We will explore ectothermic animals and their adaptations that keep them warm or cold in different climates and weather. This 2 hour event will include an animal encounter with some of our creatures here at the lab, along with an engineering design challenge using common household materials to build a warm animal home to keep them snuggly all winter long

Northern Virginia Science Center Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that operates the Children's Science Center Lab at Fair Oaks Mall and STEM programs traveling to schools and other community venues across the region.
