Budding Bookworms every Monday! 

Storytime is now @ the Lab! Bring your preschooler to listen and enjoy an engaging story you both can talk about all day long together! Meet your friends and make new ones at this program included with the same day General Admission ticket.

Mondays at 11 am

This program is most appropriate for children ages 2-5, accompanied by an engaged adult.  Space is limited. First come, first served.

Dates Offered: 

Celebrate Dr. Seuss All Month in March!

Monday, March 2nd: One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish by Dr. Seuss followed by a fishy game.

Monday, March  9th: Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss followed by an egg-citing activity.

Monday, March 16th: The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss followed by measuring with the Cat’s hat.

Monday, March 23rd: Yertle the Turtle by Dr. Seuss followed by a turtle balancing act.

Monday, March 30th: The Lorax by Dr. Seuss followed by making a Truffula tree!

 

Birds of a Feather Flock Together in April

Monday, April 6: BEAKS! by Sneed B. Collard III followed by picking up “worms” like birds!

Monday, April 13: Feathers by Cassie Mayer followed by a bird dance!

Monday, April 20: BIRDS: Winged and Feathered Animals by Suzanne Slade followed by Creating a bird feeder! *Allergen Notice: Oat Cereal*

Monday, April 27: Mama Built a Little Nest by Jennifer Ward followed by matching birds with their nests!

 

 

Budding Scientist Every Friday!

Do you have a Budding Scientist? Join us at the Children’s Science Center Lab for a special program designed just for preschool aged children and an engaged accompanying adult!  This program is included with same day paid admission to the Children’s Science Center Lab.

Fridays at 11:00 am

This program is most appropriate for children ages 2-5, accompanied by an engaged adult.  Space is limited. First come, first served.

Friday, March 27th: Hop on Pop! by Dr. Seuss: Hopping into Action!

Friday, April 3: Tweet ,Tweet, Tweet! Investigate beak size and shape!

Friday, April 10: You can’t see it, but you can feel it! How does wind help birds fly? 

Friday, April 17: The sun is out, and the birds are singing! Create a bird with geometric shapes! 

Friday, April 24: Look closely! Go on the search for birds in our Discovery Zone.
