Budding Bookworms every Monday! 

Storytime is now @ the Lab! Bring your preschooler to listen and enjoy an engaging story you both can talk about all day long together! Meet your friends and make new ones at this program included with the same day General Admission ticket.

Mondays at 11 am

This program is most appropriate for children ages 2-5, accompanied by an engaged adult.  Space is limited. First come, first served.

Does this make scents? February is all about Sense-able Science

Monday, February 3rd: The Eye Book by Dr. Seuss followed by exploring your sense of sight with homemade binoculars!

Monday, February 10th: The Black Book of Colors by Menena Cottin followed by learning about our sense of touch with a mystery box.

Monday, February 17th: Who’s Making That Smell? by Phillip Hawthorne followed by coloring with scents!

Monday, February 24th: Senses by Lisa Greathouse followed by exploring how we hear things.

 

Celebrate Dr. Seuss All Month in March!

Monday, March 2nd: One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish by Dr. Seuss followed by a fishy game.

Monday, March  9th: Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss followed by an egg-citing activity.

Monday, March 16th: The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss followed by measuring with the Cat’s hat.

Monday, March 23rd: Yertle the Turtle by Dr. Seuss followed by a turtle balancing act.

Monday, March 30th: The Lorax by Dr. Seuss followed by making a Truffula tree!

 

 

Budding Scientist Every Friday!

Do you have a Budding Scientist? Join us at the Children’s Science Center Lab for a special program designed just for preschool aged children and an engaged accompanying adult!  This program is included with same day paid admission to the Children’s Science Center Lab.

Fridays at 11:00 am

This program is most appropriate for children ages 2-5, accompanied by an engaged adult.  Space is limited. First come, first served.

Friday, February 7th: What do you see? Discover new thing with your sense of sight by using a magnifying glass.

Friday, February 14th: Raise your hands! Explore your sense of touch by creating a sensory hand!

Friday, February 28th: What do you hear? Investigate sounds with your ear!

Friday, March 27th: Hop on Pop! by Dr. Seuss: Hopping into Action!
